We organise transport to Mass, shops, hairdressers, hospital appointments and other social work
We have a member who set up and continues to run MinnieVinnies at St Mary & St Joseph Primary School.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our SVP over the last year. With your help we have provided support and social events for a number of our parishioners. We also sent donations to three national Saint Vincent de Paul funds: The Young Families' Fund, Asylum Seekers' Fund and Children's Holiday Camp Fund.
Meanwhile, our support is ongoing for a SVP Conference in India, St Thomas Puthuppanam, Muvattapuza.
Afternoon teas will start again in March and everyone is welcome, particularly new ones! Meetings are on the first Wednesday of the month after Mass.
Could YOU help us to expand our work?
We need new members, new ideas, new talents.
Whether your talent is for visiting, event organising or other
Please come along to our meeting, 1st Wednesday of each month after 6.30 Mass.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Befriending those in need is the heart of the work. We offer sincere friendship to people, visiting them -
