St Mary & St Joseph

Whether you are parishioner of St Mary & St Joseph, new to Pocklington, or just browsing, we are delighted that you are here! Our mission as a Catholic church is to join Our Lord in the sacraments and to live the Gospel. We would be very happy if you would share that mission with us.

Please join us for refreshments which are served in the Parish Hall on Sundays after mass. All profits go to CAFOD projects.

Fair Trade goods are available for purchase after Mass on the last Sunday of the month.

The 100 plus Club draw is made on the last Sunday of the month and all profits go to the Parish Benefit Fund.

Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation are by arrangement with the parish priest, Fr Michael Sellers.

Wednesdays in Advent, Rosary & Benediction at 6.00 pm (before the 6.30 evening mass) for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Walsingham is the National Catholic shrine of Our Lady and is promoting a rededication of England to Our Lady; www.dowrytour.org.uk gives plenty of history and facts about the special place Mary has had in the hearts of English Catholics.
